Annual Wellness Technician/ Patient Education
As an annual wellness technician Nene performs annual wellness visits on our office patients and dialysis patients. An annual wellness visit allows our practice to gain information about the patient including medical and family history, health risks, and specific vitals. The purpose of the AWV is to review the patient’s wellness and develop a personalized prevention plan. Nene is responsible for reviewing the clinic schedule to identify patients appropriate and due for annual wellness visits. During the annual wellness visit Nene provides personalized health information for the patient including referrals to health education and preventive screening services. She also assists clinical staff with completion of other clinical tasks as needed.
